We provide more than just a beautiful smile. Through our team of family dental experts and state-of-the-art technology, we offer a variety of specialty and general dentistry services. We take great care to accommodate all of our patients by providing the following services:
Porcelain Veneer:
Porcelain Veneers, also referred to as dental veneers or porcelain laminates, are wafer thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to the front of teeth to create a cosmetic improvement and sometimes a bite improvement. Porcelain veneers have successfully improved smiles by making dark teeth look lighter and healthier looking. They can make yellow teeth permanently whiter and gray tetracycline stained teeth look much more natural. Porcelain veneers can make crooked teeth look straight in just a few days. Patient’s can look and feel more confident, more professional and have a wonderfully natural looking smile.
Dental Implant Restoration:
Dental Implants are made of titanium that screw into the jaw bone. This screw (the implant) is inside the jaw-bone and is not visible. There is an abutment that is screwed onto it and it is the abutment that is visible. In the event that the work is being done in a visible area (like the smile line), the dentist will place a temporary covering on the abutment for esthetic purposes. The next step is the implant restoration . It takes time for the implant to take hold. This could range from 3-9 months, depending on the individual's rate of healing. Once the implant is firmly set inside the jaw bone, then the permanent crown is attached to the abutment. The crown is built of material that will match the surrounding teeth.
Invisalign:
Invisalign " The Invisable Braces" is a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you simply wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You simply pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete and you achieve the confident smile that you've always wanted. The best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
Sedation Dentistry:
Sedation dentistry, often called sleep dentistry, allows a patient with dental anxiety or phobia to receive proper oral care. During a sedation dentistry visit, the patient remains conscious and aware, but experiences a heightened sense of well-being. The patient will react to the instructions of the dentist and respond to stimuli, but will be more comfortable during the necessary dental treatments.
Root canal treatment:
Root canal treatment is the treatment of a tooth that is sick, abscessed, severally broken, too long and in the way of the bite, hurting due to a pulp stone, or hurting for other reasons. A small entry is made into the tooth and the little tunnels or canals (where the nerve and blood vessels live) inside the tooth are cleaned and reshaped. A filling is placed inside these little canals to seal them off from germs (hence the term "root canal filling"). Most of the time a root canal filling is the only treatment that can help save a tooth with the aforementioned conditions. A crown is then often recommended as the final restoration.
Crowns:
Crowns are fixed covers or caps that structurally support teeth. They can be gold or porcelain (tooth color). Crowns (they are tight - do not come in and out) are used to repair teeth that have been badly broken, that have root canal fillings, that are malformed or discolored or that need a better bite. The tooth is trimmed , impressions (molds) are taken, the crown is fabricated to fit over the trimmed tooth, the crown is then cemented or bonded to complete the restoration of the tooth.
Teeth Cleaning:
Good oral hygiene starts with regular dental cleanings. Regular teeth cleaning helps remove plaque and tartar build-up, which contribute to periodontal disease. We recommend all patients schedule this 45-minute appointment twice each year.
Preventative Care:
We work with you to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. We believe in a collaborate approach with the patient to create an effective preventive program that defends against dental diseases and conditions.
Pediatric Dentistry:
We love to work with children! Our child friendly environment is designed to enhance your family dental visit. We are committed to delivering fun and caring dental experiences for children.
Fillings:
Fillings are one type of treatment for the repair and restoration of teeth which are broken, decayed, malformed, or treated with root canal fillings. Fillings usually involve numbing, drilling or reshaping the teeth. The filling (gold, silver, or tooth color) is then bonded or placed in the area to be restored.
Silver Filling Replacement:
We offer mercury-free fillings and replacements for those patients who prefer this option. Porcelain and composite resin tooth-colored restorations are not only beautiful, but also add strength to weakened teeth.
Teeth Whitening:
Teeth Whitening is an easy and affordable process that can eliminate stains and discoloration to restore a beautiful smile.
Digital Dental X-Rays:
Dental x-rays are essential diagnostic tools that provide valuable information to help us evaluate your oral health. We can look at what is happening beneath the surface of your teeth and gums to identify any potential problems and create an individualized dental treatment plan. We use digital X-ray system for much lower exposure time and faster processing.
Dental Bridges:
Bridges are fixed in place where a tooth has been lost and are often an alternative to a partial denture. A bridge is constructed by having a crown either side of the dental space and then joining them together with a false tooth. The bridge is then cemented in place.
Extractions:
When a tooth is beyond repair, tooth extraction helps to sustain and preserve the health of your gums and bone. A failed tooth can be caused by an unsuccessful root canal, periodontal disease, or extensive tooth decay, in which case an extraction can bring relief.
